Dublin

Dublin is an animated and cosmopolitan capital with a great cultural and recreational offering, despite being a relatively small city with few more than a million inhabitants. It is the ideal place to carry out an internship experience abroad since it is the headquarters of important, multinational and prestigious companies such as Google, Yahoo, Ebay, Facebook, Linkedin, Microsoft, etc.

The students will be working in an environment with native english speakers, giving you the opportunity to improve your language skills in a personal and professional way.

Duration of the internships

From a minimum of 4 weeks to a maximum of 6 months. 

• 4 weeks: you can´t specify the sector or position, they are generally in administration, catering and hotels.
• from 4 to 12 weeks: can ask for the sector and type of job, but this cannot be guaranteed.
• from 3 to 6 months: can ak for sector and type of job. It is highly possible that you will get the position, depending on experience, grades and English level. In any case, the position will be mainly administrative tasks. 

Requirements

• To be older than 18
• To be a university student, preferably in the last years of the degree, student modules of FP top grade, university graduates or young professionals. 
• Intermediate level of English (B2)

The internships are usually carried out in different areas depending on personal interests and level of English. The majority of the internships are unpaid, although there are some that are paid, depending on the company. We have a database of more than 600 businesses from different sectors. Dates

This programme can be reserved throughout the year.

The reservation of a place should be a minimum of 4-6 weeks before the starting date. All of the details of the position you will kow 1 or 2 weeks before starting.

Accommodation (optional)

Family - double or single room with half board

If you want, you can reserve your accommodation with an Irish family: there is availability for single or double rooms with half board. Livingh with an Irish family is a perfect way to continue practicing your English and learning something extra about the culture and way fof life of this welcoming country.

Food

Half board consists of breakfast and dinner every day in the family home. If you reserve the full board option, you will receive a bag with tasty picnic lunches to take with you.

Apartment - single or double bedroom

For those that want more independence, we offer accommodation in shared apartments. You can reserve a place in a single or double bedroom. Bathroom, kitchen  and living room are shared with your flatmates. You can reserve this accommodation for the frst 2-4 weeks or for your whole stay. You choose!

English course (optional)

English courses are organised for those interested. It is a general English course of 20 lessons per week.

Normally the classes are in the morning, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00. There are classes for all levels from beginner to advanced. The duration of the course is very flexible; you can reserve from 1 to 52 weeks. All of the teachers are natives and the groups are reduced (maximum 15 students)

Documentation

CV and cover letter in English, at least 6 weeks before starting the programme.
