The English School in Bournemouth

Founded in 1992 the Bournemouth Center school presents a vibrant and lively atmosphere, first-class learning facilities and a perfect location in the center of the city. Among the services offered, there is a job search service in local companies to combine English classes with work experience.

The staff of the school will help you with everything, any question or doubt that may arise about your course, the academic programs, the accommodation, the leisure program; also once per week all students can take advantage of the "language clinic" a free and individualized counseling service on their improvements and progress in the use of the language.

Bournemouth is one of the most popular holiday destinations in England. The summer shows, its 7 miles of beautiful golden beaches, the amazing nightlife and the great variety of shops makes Bournemouth an amazing place to do your English course. 

The University of Bournemouth attracts thousands of students every year who want to set up here. Nearly 15,000 students live in the city, and it is estimated that 10% of the students are international. Also, their English courses attract more than 50,000 young people every year. 

With so much youth, the nightlife of the city is very lively. At night, diversity is guaranteed. At 7pm (the time where it is normal to finish dinner and go out), there are an infinite amount of bars, pubs and discos that open their doors on every street. Places to visit in Bournemouth

• The Pier: the symbol of the city. It was constructed in 1880 and has been refurbished several times since then. 
• The Central Gardens and The New Forest, a forest created by William the Conqueror nearly 900 years ago. 
• The Russel-Cotes Museum. Has a collection of paintings from the 19th century, as well as other works acquired during the Russel-Cotes family trips to Japan and Russia. Sir Merton Russel-Cotes was one of the most important people in the area, and thanks to him, he constructed the promenade.

Festivals

In April every year, the Fitness Bournemouth Bay Run (a marathon on the beach) takes place, and in June the Bournemouth Live (Blues, Jazz and Folk festival). Also, between the end of May and the beginning of June, the Music Competitions Festival is carried out every year.

Shopping

The shopping scene in Bournemouth is prosperous and varied. There are pedestrianised streets that take you from the Square to the beach through the Knyveton Gardens. In this area, there is a great variety of stores, boutiques and jewellery shops. In Westbourne, you will be able to find designer clothes and in the Boscombe district there is the local market and antique shops.
