Bath is a beautiful city in the English countryside, just 2 hours from London and 30 minutes from Bristol. Declared a World Heritage Site, it is well known for its wealth of monuments, above all the best kept Roman Baths in Europe. You will also be able to stroll amongst impacting examples of Georgian architecutre like the Royal Crescent and the Circus, without forgetting the famous and award winning gardens, Royal Victoria Park, where you will be able to enjoy a typical English picnic and outside concerts.
Amongst the infinite leisure activities that you will be able to do in this small but cosmopolitan city, we recommend that you go shopping at Pulteney bridge, take a bike ride down the canal to the beautiful city of Bradford on Avon, or go on an interesting tour, organised around the prestigious figure of writer Jane Austen, who´s importance is notable throughout the city. To this, we must add its incredible nightlife where you will be able to choose between going to the theatre or attend live concerts in the eclectic pubs in the city.
Within the city of Bath, there are good public transport services, and it is very easy to get around.
The best method of transport is the bus, and the services circulate the city regularly and quickly. The two main companies are Bath Bus Company and First Badgerline. A single ticket Monday to Friday, before 9:00 costs £3.20 and after 9:00 costs £2.90.
Bath is a University city and it has a well known and renowned nightlife. There are many clubs, bars, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and galleries where you can see various exhibitions, shows and other works of art. We recommend you take a look at "Impact" magazine. Whatever your level of English, this course will help you to gain the necessary confidence and fluency to speak in English. The objective is to improve your conversation skills, speaking, writing, reading and grammar, whilst working in an interactive and communicative way.

The Standard English course has a minimum duration of two weeks, with three hours of class per day, 5 days a week. The rest of the time is for you to do whatever activities you like, such as sightsee or staying with your new friends.
There is the option to choose a standard course + 1 hour of pronunciation class
You will work one on one with an experienced teacher, identifying the sound patterns, learning and listening to the differences in the words, practicing new sounds and incorporating them into conversational speaking.
Ideal for students that want to improve their pronunciation
In this course, you will learn the sound patterns, stress patterns, rhythm and intonation. It is an independent process of learning grammar and vocabulary. Our 4-step programme is designed to help with your pronunciation and conversational speaking.
The structure of the course is the same as the standard course + 2 hours every afternoon. During the classes, you will be able to work on specific aspects of the language such as pronunciation, Business English and much more.
Ideal for those that want to make the most out of their stay, by studying in the academy in the mornings and afternoons.
If you have an intermediate or advanced level, you can also go to optional classes that take place twice a week in the afternoons.
The residence is in front of the school just a 2 minute walk, very close to the tourist areas of interest, the shopping areas, restaurants, pubs, clubs and parks. It is located in a Victorian style building over 130 years old. We offer single and double rooms, with shared bathrom.
It is not possible to cook in the residence, however the price includes breakfast and there are microwaves in the student room if you want to cook for yourself. There is also a cafe beside the residence where the students get a discount. You will need to pay extra for the internet.
The residence has a gym, sauna and solarium. (Access to these facilites is not included in the price).

Living with a family is the ideal option for students that want to submerge themselves in a different culture. Sharing meals with your hosts every day, you will enjoy relaxed family situations where you can practice your English. To get to the school from the families, you will have to get public transport and the journey can be 15-30 minutes. To get around the city, we advise you to buy a bus pass.

We offer a transfer service from all airports in London, and also from Bristol and Cardiff.
The city is less than 2 hours from London and has excellent road and railway connections.
We advise that you either fly to London or Bristol.
Bristol International Airport is just 24km from Bath.
The bus service Express Bristol Airport Flyer picks up passengers from the airport every half an hour, between 06:00 and 23:45, 7 days a week. The bus will drop you at "Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station", where you can take one of the frequent trains to Bath (the journey usually takes around 15 minutes).
Use the regular bus service from Gatwick, which stops at Heathrow, in the direction of "Reading" station, where you will be able to get a direct train to Bath.
Trains
There are regular trains between the London stations of Paddington, Waterloo and Bath Spa Station. The average journey time is 90 minutes.
"Bristol Temple Meads" (The train station in Bristol), is just 15 minutes by train, and is also an important change over for routes around Britain.
Bus
There is also the option of getting to Bath from London with the bus company "Megabus" from Victoria station. The timetables vary from day to day and the prices depend on how late you reserve your ticket online.
They are very economical and operate every day.
