Summer Football Program in Glasgow, Scotland

The program takes place on the Glasgow College Campus located along the Clyde River at the height of the Glasgow Green Park.

The English and football program in Glasgow

The English and football program is organized to combine 15 hours of English classes per week with 15 hours of football training sessions. The entire program is fully done in English; The goal is for all participants to have fun playing soccer and to learn and practice English at the same time.

The training program is held at the Celtic Soccer Academy, Glasgow Celtic is the main team of the city. Our students will be able to train like the professionals and learn the techniques and tactics of the game, surrounded by colleagues of all nationalities and a healthy environment.

 The groups are organized by age, with a maximum of 16 players and will always be under the control of a coach. These coaches and their assistants are accredited to carry out their work for UEFA.

English course + football program in Glasgow

The English and football program in Glasgow consists of 15 hours of training per week combined with 15 hours per week of English classes.

The English course

English classes focus on communicative practice and improving conversation skills. The first week the classes are in the morning from 9.00 to 12.30 with half an hour of break and the training are from 14.00 to 18.00. During the second week of the program, the schedule is reversed and the training is in the morning and the classes in the afternoon. Young people will comunicate in English most of the time since the training sessions are also in English.

The training program - 15 hours
The training takes place at the Celtic Soccer Academy - Glasgow Celtic is the main team of the city. The theoretical classes take place at the Celtic FC Academy Barrifield and deal with tactics, nutrition, health and sports taught by coaches and staff of the Celtic FC Academy Barnarri.

Extra-curricular Activities

In addition to the English classes and the weekly training sessions, our students will be able to participate in an entertaining program of extra-academic activities and excursions that offer the opportunity to see another side of Scotland, its monuments, natural parks, and museums. There are activities organized every evening after dinner and full day excursions on weekends.

The monitors 

During the English course students will have at their disposal a whole group of international monitors to solve any questions that may arise or problem they may have. Also during the activities, sports, excursions the monitors will be present and will assist the students in everything they need. We have 1 monitor for every 15 students.
