Its great architectural beauty makes it one of the most important cultural centres in the region. The old city is made up of narrow, winding streets where you can find boutiques and little shops, as well as magnificent restaurants where you can try all types of fish and shellfish, and some delicious typical Italian or north African dishes.

The flower market offers a magnificent sight to behold when the flowers are in full bloom, and at night becomes a lively spot with bars, restaurants and many jewellery stops.
