Rishikesh is considered the world capital of yoga, where you can go to meditate, change your life or simply disconnect for a while.
We offer you the opportunity of spending two weeks (12 days) here, and making the most out of improving your English, doing yoga and having the opportunity to discover the true life of India thanks to a mini volunteer experience in a local school giving a few hours of class.
Rishikesh is well known as the "City of wine". It is one of the sacred places in the river Ganges and this sacredness is shown in every step. Its atmosphere is incomparable and contributes to create an air of sanity and tranquility. The city is at the foot of the Himalayas and here the impressive mountains fall into the sacred river in India: Mother Ganga, which is a blue and wild area.
Rishikesh is famous for its "ashrams" monasteries. Among the ashrams, the most well known is probably the Maharishi Mahesh, where the Beatles learnt to medidate and found their guru. During their stay here, they filmed their disco White Album.
The city streets are quiet and pleasant. They alternate deli books, Ayurvedic medicines, stones and some crafts. There are also fruit and vegetable stands, cows that wander quietly and its not rare to see monkeys trying to steal the food.
Two suspension bridges cross the Ganges. From them, it is possible to enjoy the impressive views, and it is very common to see people rafting that, together with trekking in the mountains, is one of the activities offered by the school.
The programme is 12 days long. We offer a 30 hour course to help you to improve your English while enjoying an unforgettable experience in India.
The course is interactive and fun. The method of learning is communicative and focused on the needs of each student. The classes are usually very dynamic and focused on practical projects. The objective of the course is to improve your capability of communicating and interacting in English, in a relaxed and international context.
The programme includes yoga classes every day. Rishikesh city is considered the capital of yoga in the world. In total, there are 12 hours of yoga (one hour every day).
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to discover the true Indian life, thanks to a mini-volunteer experience in a local school. The volunteering hours can vary according to availability and attitude of each student.

The programme includes accommodation in a simple complex located on the banks of the river Ganges.
To get to Rishikesh, you need to fly to New Delhi airport - Indira Gandhi International Airport.
From Madrid or Barcelona, it is probable that you will have to stop in London, paris or Frankfurt. When you get to the airport, you will have to go through immigration control to give in the required documents.
From New Delhi airport, there is a transfer service to Rishikesh included in the price of the programme.
