Glasgow si the best city of Scotland and the third of the United Kingdome after London and Birmingham. It is situated on the banks of the River Clyde in the Lowlands of Scotland. The people of Glasgow are known as Glaswegians and there are more than one million two hundred thousand inhabitants.

The most popular shopping center is Buchanan Galleries, it presents many boutics and commercial pavilions where it is possible to buy jewelry items and attractive souvenirs.

Complete program in Glasgow City (to 11 from 17 years old)

Classes are taught on the same campus. It is very comfortable and allows you to get to class in a few minutes.

The natives teachers have a broad experience in english teaching and in culture to young people of all ages and nationalities and are certified by the British Council.

The English course has 2 classes per day the monday and the friday, of a period of 90 minutes each one, in total 15 hours de classes per week. Classes focus on communicative practice and improving your conversational skills.

Level test 

The first day a level test is performed to assign the groups. No previous level required. With a maximum of 15 students per classroom.

Class schedule 

The first week classes take place in the morning from 9:00 am to 12:20 am with a half-hour break and the second week classes are shared the afternoon from 02:00 pm to 06:00 pm.

Extra-curricular Activities

Everyday, for the afternoons and during the weekends, an entertaining program of extra-curricular activities and excursions is organise. It offers the opportunity to see others interests sites in Scotland, monuments, natural parks and museums. 

The activities of the program are designed to help student to understand the Scotland's culture and history through some visits and activities. 

Monitors 

During the English course, students will have to their disposition a group of international monitors to resolve any doubt that may arise or any problem that they can have. It is the same during activities, sports, or excursions : monitors will be present and will assist students n everything they may need. 

We have 1 monitor for 15 students.

1st week : 

Sunday : Arrival at the airport and shuttle in bus 

  • Upon arrival students will be greeted by a school employee. Transfer from the airport to the accommodation.

Monday :

  • 02:00 pm : Visit of the city (George Square, Buchanan Galleries)

The program for minors in Glasgow takes place in a campus situated in the heart of the city the most important in Scotland, at the board of the Clyde River, close to Glasgow Green Park, in a few minutes walking of the center. 

The Riverside's campus open its doors in august 2015 and offers a dynamic, lively and enjoyable learning environment.

Our students enjoy of a wide range of first class facilities, including a sport center, computers and free access to WIFI everywhere in the campus, the residence where they lodge is close to the school.

Residence

Students will be lodge in a residence next to the school : this allows them a maximum of security and of comfort because they will not need to move to go in class or to participate in activities. 

The residence has individual or double bedrooms with private bathroom in a new and modern building with all the comfort. Bedrooms are equipped with tables, cabinets, chairs and bed. The residence is composed by apartments and in each one there is an equipped kitchen and a small seating area with television. All students will have the key to their room.

They will also have common areas where they can relax, play and play machines, in case they need to buy food or drink between the hours.

The residence has a coin-operated laundry room so you can make your own laundry. There is WiFi, cleaning service. Sheets are changed every week.

Full board 

The program includes the full board. Students will have the right at 3 dialy meals which are served on the dinning room of the campus. During the excursion days they will receive a packed luch to take away. There are always many options available to choose from and at least one vegetarian.

How to get there

Airport Shuttle 

The Glasgow's airport is situated in 13km in the West of the center of the city. The program includes the Airport shuttle from the airport to the campus. Upon arrival the student will be received by a school employee.

The travel in plane 

The minor travel alone on the plane. Most of the major airlines such as Iberia or British Airways accept passengers from 12 years old, so it is not necessary to hire an escort service during the trip.
