The English program for minors in Edinburgh takes place in the facilities of the University of Napier in the Marchiston Campus, which is located in the center of the city. Here are the academic facilities and dining rooms where all three meals are daily served.

The campus is located in the center of the city, very closely to the Royal Mile, Princess Street and to the main Edinburgh attractions.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh, the Scotland's capital, is one of the most special cities in Europe. Program for young people in Edinburgh (from 11 to 17 years old)

The English course for minors in the Edinburgh's school is a 15-hour weekly course, 3 hours in class (With a half-hour break) from Mondays to Fridays in small groups of 15 persons. 

English classes can take place in the mornings or in the afternoons and there are possibilities for every levels, from elementary to advanced (from A2 to C2)

 

Additional information

The aim of the course is to practice the basic language skills of speaking, reading, comprehension and writing but above all expand the vocabulary and improve confidence and fluency in the use of English through games, workshops and projects in class. During the course, many multimedia resources are used and themes chosen that may be of interest to the youngest. In addition there are lessons on Scotland, its history, the localities and attractions that will visit on the excursions.

Extra-curricular Activities

Everyday, for the afternoon and during the weekends, an entertaining program of extra-curricular activities and excursions is organised, it offers the opportunity to see other interets sites in Scoteland, monuments, castles and others cities.

Full day excursions are organized on weekends, cultural activities in Edinburgh, workshops and games in the evenings.

Accommodation

The residence for minors is  just a few minutes walking from the city center and 10 minutes from the University campus where classes are held (less than 1 km).

We propose bedrooms with private bathroom of high standard : are fully equipped,modern and functional. Among the residence's facilities there is a kitchen, WIFI internet connection and a living room with TV, ideal for relaxing and making new friends.

There is a 24/7 security service and camera control. The laundry is coin operated. On arrival you will be given sheets and towels and changed every week.
